After her psychology major, Tuulia Ortner researched at the University of Vienna and the Freie Universität Berlin, before moving to the University of Salzburg in 2012 as university professor.

Tuulia Ortner studied psychology at the University of Vienna and the Freie Universität Berlin, before moving to the University of Salzburg in 2012 as a university professor.

Her work focuses among other things on the issue of which situational or method-specific factors can contribute to enlarge or minimize gender differences. In addition, job-related assessments and in particular the fairness of selection procedures are her main focus. She is the author of numerous scientific articles  in magazines and several books, and she soon becomes a double mom.

Since 2014, the findings obtained at PANDA have been evaluated as part of a cooperation with the University of Salzburg.
